The Art of The Perfect Hair Care

Private Collection by Gallipott is what we like to boast as the best hair care product available. Manufacturing our own product line allows us to have full control of it’s contents. We have created a beautiful balance of the latest scientific research, 100% natural haircare that is effective, harmless to you, sustainable to our precious environment, and with tremendous benefits not only to your hair but your well being.

The difference between Gallipott’s Private Collection and the haircare mass produced by big beauty brand companies is comparable to the difference between taking a bite out of a juicy strawberry and having a strawberry lollipop. The ingredients within our tinctures are collected from all over the world. Wherever a certain herb, oil, or other ingredient thrives within a certain environment is where we collect those ingredients for your additives within your product. This is what makes our products truly unique.

Our products are free from animal testing, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, harmful preservatives, and artificial colors. They are also vegan, color safe and gluten free. Our fragrances are also kosher. By making small changes in the items we use, the purchases we make and the way we approach every day, we all really can change our world. Each day you vote with your dollars, supporting the companies that share your same values. We invite you to consult with a stylist in prescribing your perfect shampoo and conditioner duo customized to you and your hair’s needs.

Jacelyn Cody

Jacelyn’s career as a hair stylist technically started when she was 17, though her interest was sparked when she was a little girl. The high school she attended in Illinois offered the option for a career jumpstart at a local vocational and technical institute, with cosmetology as one of the options. Since she always enjoyed making people feel good about themselves, she thought it was a great fit for her. After finishing cosmetology school shortly after she graduated high school, Jacelyn started at a well-known salon as an assistant. She assisted the top stylist for a year, learning the ins and outs of hair as well as the techniques that they do not teach in school.

After her extensive training, Jacelyn’s education continued throughout her hair-styling career in Illinois. She worked specifically with Davines, becoming certified as a master colorist in that line. Jacelyn recently moved to Colorado with her family and started at an Aveda styling salon, working with Aveda for a year and a half. She has been in the industry for ten years and has been licensed as a cosmetologist for eight years; she cannot imagine doing anything else. She loves what she does and how she makes people feel. For Jacelyn, it is truly the most gratifying feeling that one can experience.

Meghan Tomtas

Meghan has been a go-getter from an early age. Starting her cosmetology schooling at age 17, and quickly advanced into an apprenticeship guided by 3 European Stylists. There she learned how to be creative and detail oriented.

Her willingness to step outside the box and seek out other muses for inspiration guided her to the other realm of hairdressing, fashion and artistic shoots. From there, she started teaching cosmetology by the age of 20, focusing on styling and editorial ideals. Although her passion was being sought after, there was something missing. Color and the idea of traveling for advanced education intrigued her. She went for it and has now been back and forth multiple times to New York, L.A., Chicago, and San Francisco focusing on hair color while still keeping styling in her view. This allowed her to train her eye for color and balanced styles, forming a beautiful end result.

Devin Williams

Devin has been in the career of hair for nearly two years but has had a passion for it for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Hair Dynamics in September of 2011. She enjoys all aspects of hairstyling; her real passion is for color. She strives to make all of her clients feel beautiful inside and out and will go above and beyond to make that happen! She is extremely excited to be a part of the Gallipott team and is looking forward to the adventures of hairstyling that await her!

McKenna Gustafson

Her passion for cosmetics bloomed in Northern California when she worked for Jane Iredale Cosmetics. There she trained in simple everyday looks to elegant bridal makeup.

McKenna began her career in hair after graduating from Hair Dynamics, in 2012. She loves razor cutting and she specializes in the newest color trends including Ombre, color blocking and sun kissed Balayage highlights. Gentleman and Children Cuts are adored! McKenna is a proud new mother to baby boy, Wesley, who already sports quite the hairstyle! McKenna looks forward to working with each guest to achieve a confident personal style!

Katy Bentzinger

Katy has always been artistically inclined. She started her training at the Art Institute of Colorado and continued on to the Cosmetology Program at Hair Dynamics. Graduating in 2006, her career began with an apprenticeship program where she furthered her education with Bumble and Bumble and Phyto cutting and styling techniques. She then ventured on to work with a national Aveda educator where she was able to work through an extensive training program in addition to building experience with clients. From Aveda, she then moved on to become self employed and began working as an educator at Hair Dynamics. She has since had advanced training in color techniques and men’s cutting in Los Angeles and Minneapolis and continued to teach as an in-house educator.

Katy believes that communication is the most important part of the services she provides. She is willing to listen and understand each individual clients needs and apply her talent and training to achieving the desired results. Katy is ecstatic to be working at such an amazing salon with a great team.

Krista Miller

Krista was raised here in Fort Collins, Colorado, but began her career as a hairstylist in good ole Portland, Oregon back in 2005. Yes, Portlandia is funny because it is true. While in Portland, she trained in the Aveda Advanced Education program fine tuning her technical skills and gaining real world experience. She now lives in downtown Fort Collins with her husband, our son and dog. She loves to skateboard, ride bikes and try to snowboard and cross country ski whenever possible.

Advanced education is so important in this business. She believes the key to a positive hair experience is clear and open communication. She starts every appointment with a thorough consultation. She has learned in life to listen, listen and listen some more. She feels that helps in almost all situations. She likes to fully understand who you are and what your lifestyle is like so she can create a hairstyle that suits you. The apothecary shampoos & conditioners are definitely the most unique line she has ever had a chance to work with. She is very grateful to have found the amazing people and products here at Gallipott Salon and to be part of such a talented crew.

Britt Namken

With over six years experience in cosmetology, Britt desired to expand her knowledge and be in a new environment that supports new skills, education and trends, this is how she came to belong at Gallipott Salon.

Britt’s passion for the industry stems from the ability to create, rich hued colors, short textured razor cuts and stunning blonde tones. She can also help you form a well-balanced look with facial waxing. Her intention is to make you feel comfortable from consultation to finishing. Britt’s unconventional ideas are inspired by being in nature, seeing the natural colors of wild flowers, feathers of birds, shapes and textures of trees and mountains.

The way we wear our hair, our look, our style is an extension of the way we want the world to perceive us, this gives you the opportunity to show the world who you are!

Taylor Lucas

Taylor graduated from Regency Beauty Institute in 2014, but has long been into hairstyling, as a child giving any unclaimed Barbie a modern style or as a teenager helping his mother cover her stubborn grays. After graduating beauty school, he tried his luck at a chain salon, but ultimately decided for his dreams of styling hair and makeup for big-name events like movies and fashion shows to come true, he would have to venture on to bigger and better things. He has since found an incredible opportunity to assist and learn from the other stylists here at Gallipott: a place to call home and grow into the stylist he dreams of becoming.

She got back into women’s hair and finished a year long program through L’oreal professional. She has such a passion for the industry and has been involved in as many aspects as she can from nails to waxing, and more.
